Meet Halie
they/she

Halie realized that they wanted to pursue a career in hair after growing up in their aunt’s salon. The ability to make people feel empowered- while also getting to be a creative problem solver- was all it took for them to realize that this was a passion she could pursue long-term. And it has been long-term; this year Halie celebrates over 13 years in the industry, and while their skill-sets have grown so exponentially that they now teach educational courses, her love of community in the salon has not changed since growing up alongside their aunt. Halie prioritizes their community by offering easy-to-wear, accessible hairstyles for everyone, using only non-tox products, and teaching educational courses for other creatives in their industry. However, their love for community extends past their human communities and into the animal and environmental community at large by ensuring their practice remains fully vegan.
